Quorum are looking for the best short application note and/or image series completed using Quorum Technologies preparation instruments, and offering entrants the chance to win an iPad 2. See image below.
It is forty years since the launch of their first sputter coating and critical point drying systems and to mark this occasion, Quorum are keen to find out how their customers are using Quorum instruments to fulfil their research needs.
Work could have been carried out using current Quorum Technologies equipment, or older instrumentation with brand names, such as Emitech, Polaron, Bio-rad, VG etc. Instruments could include:
• Cryo-SEMs (PP3000T, PP2000T, K1250X etc)
• Sputter coaters, carbon coaters and vacuum evaporators
• Critical point dryers (E3000, K850 etc)
• RF plasma reactors (K1050X, PT7150 etc)
• Freeze dryers (K750X, K775X etc)
The deadline for entries is 31 December 2011, and these can be forwarded as Adobe, JPG or Word documents with photographs embedded or as separate email attachments. Original black and white or colourised images are permitted and should be in JPG format.
