Following the success of the 1st International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing in 2003, six of the UKs leading science and engineering associations are joining forces to arrange Micro and Nanotechnology 2005.
MNT 05 is an International Conference with expanded scope which spans the whole spectrum of topics from the frontiers of nanoscale science through synthetic chemistry, nanostructured materials and nanoscale characterisation through to large scale industrial manufacturing issues and the development of microengineered mechanical and electronic systems.
An underpinning theme of the conference will be the route from scientific discovery to the market. Health and safety, and environmental issues will be addressed alongside benefits for society.
