Click here to download the pdf flyer Conference Details The Tissue and Cell Engineering Society (TCES) celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Over the last 10 years the Society has provided a forum for UK research groups to share research ideas and has contributed to the development of a strong and friendly field in all aspects of cell and tissue engineering. This year's symposium will be held at the University of Nottingham on the 2-4 July within the Centre for Biomolecular Sciences. TCES will be joined by Remedi, an EPSRC Innovative Manufacturing Grand Challenge Project, who are hosting a free pre-symposium workshop to discuss how established bio-science can be transformed into profitable commercial practice and generate affordable therapies while developing the science of manufacture. The main TCES conference will start on the Thursday followed by an EPSRC funded ANGIONET session on the Friday morning which will focus on angiogenesis in tissue engineering. The final afternoon includes a post-symposium technical workshop, aimed at postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, which will address imaging in tissue engineering. This workshop is free and is co-sponsored by the Royal Microscopy Society. Further details of the confirmed keynote speakers can be found below. We look forward to seeing you in Nottingham!
