FEEDBACK

Here's what 2008 students said

The course overall.....

" I absolutely loved the RMS course, I think it had a very good balance of theory,
practice and contact time with the instructors and other attendants."

"Probably the most useful course I've ever been on. I've already used the knowledge I gained in my job and suddenly it's like the scales have been lifted from my eyes! It's good to know I'm now getting the most out of my equipment and I have a new found respect for my trusty diaphot."

"Extremely enjoyable, with interesting lectures, practical’s and materials."

"I found the course informative and interesting, will definitely attend more RMS courses."

"Very well balanced between practical and theory. The pace was quick enough to keep you thinking yet steady enough for information to sink in."

on the practical sessions.....
"The practical sessions were very useful to get hands on experience and knowing what to do to get the best out of the sample. "

and, the lecturers.....
"Very clearly set out. Peter and Chris have a knack of explaining complicated ideas in a fun and understandable way. Just the right amount of relevant physics to explain microscopy without losing me with laws and formulas."

"...I found some of the lecturers inspirational!"

"I thought it was well balanced. People had enough time, and the lecturer's were certainly extremely helpful and keen, to ask questions should they have required answers to more complex issues."

"Very well presented and all speakers were very knowledgeable about their fields."

".....an awesome lecturer, even better at talking science than Johnny Ball! "
