Meeting Information
Flow Cytometry has been used in Haemato-Oncology for the diagnosis of Leukaemia and lymphoma for the last thirty years. During this period, this complex discipline played a major contribution in haematological malignancies classification, diagnosis and prognosis.
There is a need to focus on the continuous training of operators and scientists particularly due to the recent evolution of instrumentation, lasers, fluorochromes and applications in the clinical laboratory.
This Meeting discussed the main aspects of the use of flow cytometry for immunophenotyping. It was of interest to both people who are new in the field and those with some experience, including scientists, technicians, doctors and trade representatives.
