After the success of the first 2 meetings in Germany, the third International High Pressure Freezing meeting was held at University College London (UCL) from 13th to 15th July 2011.
The meeting was aimed at beginners to the very experienced users in the field of High Pressure Freezing and associated preparation. The meeting is most of all a place for discussion on the state of the art and technical aspects of HPF. This is highlighted by the on site practical demonstrations on sample preparation and other tips and tricks.

There were 5 different sessions for presentations, 2 sessions for demonstrations, and 3 keynote lectures. In addition, there was a discussion session with Ian Lamswood from Leica Microsystems.
