Microscopes Wanted
If you know of any microscopes that are languishing in cupboards or are ear-marked for disposal, the Society can arrange for collection & put them to excellent use.

The Society is always happy to accept microscopes that are no longer used or are to be discarded by laboratories.
Once they have been received, they are cleaned and repaired by Peter Evennett and Chris Hammond. This is the microscopical equivalent of washing and sewing a button on clothes that are donated to charity shops.
Peter and Chris then take instruments to meetings of microscopy clubs around the country and sell them to enthusiasts and collectors. The income goes towards supporting schools to purchase microscopes for use in the classroom.
If you have microscopes to donate, contact us to arrange collection.
