2008 Micrograph Competition

See the winners from the four categories in the 2008 Competition.

The quality of entries for the 2008 RMS Micrograph Competition was simply spectacular. With over 158 entries from 15 countries, the competition proved to be the most successful yet. Click here to download the full article from infocus.

As with previous years, the competition was strongly supported by companies exhibiting at MICROSCIENCE 2008. A wide variety of generous prize donations were made by a number of companies keen to be involved and support the event. These included widescreen LCD TVs, a laptop, digital cameras and cash prizes!

1st place in the EM Materials category was awarded to David McCarthy & Annie Cavanagh for their micrograph entitled Physical Science - Pharmaceutical Drug delivery Polymer (polymethacrylic acid and the corticosteroid drug prednisolone).
