In 2004, the Society's Council initiated a process that would lead to a new Five-Year Strategy. Working Groups looked at Science, Publishing, Microscience, Education and Promotion.
The outputs of these groups have been brought together to define a new long-term strategy for the Society - Focussed on a better image - that will focus efforts on -

Membership
