You will be the marketing product management for a highly valued life sciences research platform. This will include responsibility for a range of flow cytometry instruments addressing a variety of scientific needs for academic and research customers in the UK & Ireland. This role will report to the Marketing Manager for UK&I.
Job Description Summary
This role has two primary responsibilities as part of the broader BDB Cell Analysis strategy to drive growth in the UK with alignment to European and WW strategies:
1) Management of the Biosciences Life Science Research Instrument portfolio
2) Support development and implementation of the BDB Go-To-Market strategy
This role will support the business with product information & management, field activities (where possible), and promotional campaigns. A key to success will be maintaining a good working knowledge of the UK and Republic of Ireland (ROI) market (customers, competitors, funding and product trends).
The role will be positioned in a busy environment and the prioritizing of tasks will be crucial. The role will require a strong technical background, good presentation skills, attention to detail plus strong analytical skills. The post holder will need to be an excellent team player, approachable, flexible and able to manage the pressure of deadlines.
