Cryo Electron Microscopy Course 2022 marks welcome return to 'in-person'
'In-person' RMS events made a long-awaited return this week as the annual Cryo Electron Microscopy Course got underway at Rothamsted Research in Harpenden.
The residential course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of sample preparation and cryo EM techniques. Attendees gain a wealth of insights from numerous topic experts, with tutorials demonstrations, and plenty of hands-on practical sessions.
RMS Chief Executive Allison Winton said: "Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, the RMS has hosted successful online versions of its regular programme of meetings, courses and conferences. While virtual events will continue to feature in the Society's plans where appropriate, I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief that we are once again able to meet in person and benefit from that face-to-face contact. I hope all our attendees at this year's Cryo Electron Microscopy Course enjoy the experience and have a great week."
