Revealed: Poster Prize Winners at EBSD 2019

Big turn-out at popular event bringing together leading research scientists and engineers

Congratulations to the University of Lyon’s Cyril Langlois, who won the Poster Prize at the highly successful EBSD 2019 event.

Cyril’s poster, Low kV eCHORD orientation mapping on 304L steel, was chosen ahead of 23 others presented over three sessions.

Runner-up was Alex Foden of Imperial College London, whose poster was titled Phase Clarification Using a Library Based Indexing Method.

EBSD 2019, which took place from 2-3 April in Teddington, Greater London, welcomed 117 attendees.

The annual meeting draws together leading research scientists and engineers from the global community to highlight the latest developments in Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD), including both applications and technique developments.
