Make your application for the popular residential course based in Edinburgh - and gain thorough grounding in super-resolution microscopy

Applications are now open for the popular ESRIC super-resolution summer school

The five-day residential course, held in Edinburgh from 14-19 July, provides a relaxed and intimate setting for participants to gain a thorough grounding in super-resolution microscopy.

Featuring informal lectures, workshops and Q&A sessions, the course is an excellent opportunity to gain project-specific advice from a host of academic experts and suppliers. There is also ample time to network and find out more at a series of informal social events.

Participants will benefit from the expertise and guidance of leading academics and suppliers in areas including:

  • the theory, practice and analysis of structured illumination microscopy (SIM)
  • stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED)
  • AiryScan and single molecule localization microscopies (PALM, sptPALM and dSTORM)

The course is suitable for anyone with prior experience of fluorescence microscopy looking to exploit the benefits of super-resolution microscopy in their research.
