Winner of prestigious imaging contest set to be announced in December


The Royal Society is appealing for entries to its prestigious Publishing  2019 Photography Competition – including micro-imaging.

The competition celebrates the power of photography in science and the role great images play in making science accessible to a wider audience.

It is split into five categotries – including micro-imaging – and is free to enter, but only open to scientists.

Previous micro-imaging winner

The 2018 competition’s micro-imaging category was won by RMS Electron Microscopy Committee Member Dr Leandro Lemgruber, with his image, ‘Going round and round’ (pictured).
