Session 4 - Small & Large in Flow Cytometry with Session Chair: Gerald Pfister (Co-chair: Charlotte Petersen)
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are particles released by cells into body fluids, with growing potential as disease biomarkers and therapeutic agents. Recent advances in flow cytometry enable the detection of EVs, even those smaller than 100 nm. However, identifying which flow cytometers can achieve this sensitivity and how to configure a flow cytometer appropriately, remains a challenge.
