If you are an early career researcher normally within 12 years of starting your PhD or are employed in a support role in microscopy or cytometry then these are for you.
If you have been a member of the Royal Microscopical Society for more than twelve months at the time of application and have been accepted to present a paper involving microscopy at a conference or workshop - either orally or as a poster - then you are eligible.
Bursary applications are considered by the Executive Honorary Secretary and the Honorary Treasurer. When there is a heavy demand preference will be given to those with one or more years of continuous membership.
