The International Microscopy Lecture Series

About the series

The International Microscopy Lecture Series is a collaborative undertaking by four International Microscopy Societies (the Royal Microscopical Society, the Microscopical Society of Canada, the Israel Society for Microscopy and the Brazilian Society of Microscopy and Microanalysis).  It is also supported by the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy (IFSM).  This initiative has been developed as an international networking and archiving platform for recording and expanding knowledge, sharing new developments, and exchanging best practices related to microscopy.  The mission of the International Microscopy Lecture Series is to capture the life-time achievements of founders and pioneers in modern microscopy.  In the next and following seasons we will continue to archive presentations of groundbreaking achievements that have defined the trajectory of microscopy as we know it today.  To provide a more personal touch recorded informal video interviews with the guest speakers will additionally be released.  These virtual lectures mean we can engage a world wide audience.  The lecture will then be made available shortly after on the RMS YouTube channel and links will be posted on this webpage to those videos.  We are looking forward to having you join us.  Please register for each lecture you would like to attend (attendance is free of charge and open to all).
