Glasgow University’s Life Sciences School will host a hands-on Cytometry workshop immediately prior to the 2015 CYTO Conference in Glasgow.

This workshop was aimed at beginners in cytometry and those wishing to expand their knowledge. During the two days, delegates were able to attend short lectures on the basics of cytometry and then attend four of seven specially organised modules which were taught by senior ISAC members and respected members of the UK cytometry community. The modules were: multicolour phenotyping; DNA analysis; Cell death; cell proliferation; functional studies; cell sorting; imaging flow cytometry. Each module consisted of background information, sample preparation and staining, running and analysis on a cytometer.
