Rummaging through an old box of his late grandfather’s photos, Dan Harris came across a series of puzzling images which stirred his curiosity. As he held the collection of black-and-white stills in his hand, he remembered his grandfather Henry had been no stranger to microscopes during his career as a metallurgist. Perhaps these images had something to do with his work?
