As most of you will know, the Society hosted the 15th European Microscopy Congress – emc2012 - in Manchester in September. Many members contributed – serving on committees, organising sessions, presenting their work, and by attending.Together they helped to make it the largest event yet in the series, attracting 1,714 registered conference delegates - a 30% increase on 2008.
