Cryogenic Preparation and Imaging Strategies for Soft Matter in Materials Science
Focus Lecture Series: Cryogenic Preparation and Imaging Strategies for Soft Matter in Materials Science
A new special Focus Lecture series taking place as part of the Microscopy Characterization of Organic-Inorganic Interfaces Meeting. For 2017, it is being organized together with The Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and is dedicated to "Cryogenic preparation and imaging strategies for soft matter in materials science".
This lecture series focuses on applied electron microscopy for the characterization of hydrated samples (hydrogels, colloids, hydrated polymers, polymer-peptide hybrids, scaffolds for cell culture evaluations) using cryo-preservation and characterization of materials in their pristine/life-like state. Several techniques that have been well established in life sciences research will be presented in the context of materials science.
To attend this meeting, you must register to attend the Microscopy Characterization of Organic-Inorganic Interfaces Meeting, of which this lecture series forms a part.
Registration is now closed.
