infocus Magazine: Outreach and Education Special Issue coming soon!

The March 2026 issue of infocus Magazine is coming soon - featuring a range of articles, news and features highlighting outreach and education activities undertaken both within the RMS and the wider microscopy community.

Upcoming content includes:

• reports from six undergraduates who completed RMS Summer Studentships in 2025
• feedback from schools using the RMS Microscope Activity Kits as the initiative reaches more than 200,000 children
• latest updates from the RMS Diploma qualification
• an interview with Professor Kang-Nee Ting, winner of the Chris Hawes Award for Outreach and Education for her work bringing microscopy to children in deprived communities in Malaysia
