Flow Facilities Meeting 2024 will take place at The Exchange, 3 Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2DR.

 

Accommodation

There are a number of hotels in close proximity to the venue. You can search by the venue postcode B1 2DR in your booking site. The following have been recommended.

The Holiday Inn Express - Birmingham City - approx. 5 minutes walk from venue

Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre - approx. 5 minutes walk from venue

Hyatt Regency Birmingham - approx. 3 minutes walk from venue

Timings

The programme will start with lunch at midday on Monday 8 January and will close on Tuesday 9 January after lunch. This will be an in person meeting and there will not be the opportunity to attend online.
There will also be a meeting dinner on the evening of Monday 8 January, the cost of this dinner is included in your registration. If you do not wish to attend the dinner, or are unable to, please let me know in advance after you have registered to attend the meeting. 

Registration

Admittance to this event is for registered and authorised attendees only. Unfortunately we cannot permit access to visitors or allow non-registered persons to enter the meeting.

If you are not an academic and are from a commercial organisation, you will need to pay to attend this event. The charge per person to attend will be advised shortly. Your ticket will include attendence to the meeting and the meeting dinner. It will also include your company logo on the sponsors page of the website, in the PDF digital booklet and on the holding slide at the event. 

By agreeing to the terms and conditions of booking you have agreed to abide by the Code of Conduct set out for all attendees at RMS Events.

Meeting Dinner

Registration includes a place at the meeting dinner on the evening of Monday 8 January. We will be going to MingMoon Restaturant. You can notify us of your dietary requirements or opt out of attending the dinner during the registration process. Please note that you may be asked several times to confirm your attendance at this dinner, as we would like to give as accurate a number to the restaurant as possible.

Attendee Information

Further information will be sent out to you, by email, nearer the time of the meeting. A PDF meeting booklet will also be sent out to you, by email, just before the meeting. To be more sustainable we will only be providing an electronic copy of the PDF booklet, if you require a printed copy of the programme, please bring one with you as we will not be able to print on the day.

Accessibility

When arriving at the venue, we recommend that wheelchair users and those with limited mobility access the venue via Bridge Street, before entering through the North Entrance. This entrance is accessible by ramp and has fully automated doors for easy entry. You’ll also find ramp access at the South Entrance, which is located off Bank Court.

There is level access, accessible toilets and a hearing loop available.
