Microscopy Characterisation of organic-inorganic Interfaces 2018

Scientific Organisers: Dr. Nadezda V. Tarakina (MPIKG), Dr. Andy Bushby (QMUL), Dr. Roland Fleck (KCL), Mr. Russell Bailey (QMUL), Dr. J.P. Patterson (TU/e), Prof. N.A.J.M. Sommerdijk (TU/e)

The meeting is dedicated to microscopy of materials comprised of both organic and inorganic constituents (in close proximity) and is aimed at bringing together experts from both the life science and materials science communities to address this challenging and increasingly important topic.

This year's focused lecture, taking place on the second day of the meeting "in situ liquid phase electron microscopy", is being organised by Prof Nico Sommerdijk from the Eindhoven University of Technology. Prof Sommerdijk is the scientific director of the Center for Multiscale Electron Microscopy and leads the Laboratory of Materials and Interface Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology.
