Attendee Information
The meeting programme will start on Tuesday 23 June and will close on Thursday 25 June. This will be an in person meeting and there will not be the opportunity to attend online. When available, please refer to the provisional programme for the timings of each day, all times are British Summer Time (BST) and subject to change.
There will be a drinks reception at the end of day 1, Tuesday 23 June.
There will also be a meeting dinner on the evening of Wednesday 24 June, the cost of this dinner is included in your registration. If you do not wish to attend the dinner, or are unable to, please Jess Cole know in advance after you have registered to attend the meeting.
There is no dress code for the meeting or the evening reception and dinner, but we ask that you please dress appropriately.
Registration
Registration will open Autumn 2025.
Please note that registration does not include accommodation. Accommodation is available to book through the venue, when available please visit the Accommodation tab.
Registration includes attendance to the 3 day meeting, lunches, refreshments, the drinks reception on Tuesday 23 June and a place at the banquet dinner on the evening of Wednesday 24 June.
You will have an opportunity during the registration process to advise us of any food allergies and/or dietary requirements. Attendees must make the RMS aware of ANY requirements. If you have any concerns or wish to discuss this further, please contact Jess Cole.
Admittance to this event is for registered and authorised attendees only. Unfortunately we cannot permit access to visitors or allow non-registered persons to enter the meeting. Registration must be paid in FULL prior to the event for you attend.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions of booking you have agreed to abide by the Code of Conduct set out for all attendees at RMS Events.

Accommodation
Accommodation for this event is not included in the ticket fee however accommodation is available at Storm Jameson Court. Rooms are subject to availability. Prices available soon.

Commercial Attendees / Sponsorship
Bookings for sponsorship will open Autumn 2025. Once sponsorship tickets are booked, you will receive a discount code for your commercial attendees to register for the event. Venue
The AFM & SPM 2026 conference will take place at the University of Leeds, Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre situated on within the Michael Sadler Building, Beech Grover Terrace, Woodhouse, Leeds LS2 9DA. The exhibtion hall will be located within Parkinson Court situated on Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 9HB. Access between the Lecture Theatre and the Exhibtion hall is a short 3 minute.
The evening banquet on Wednesday 24 June will take place at The Refectory South, University House, Lifton Place, Woodhouse, Leeds LS2 9JT, a short 4 minute 200m walk from the Michael Sadler Building and approximately 100m from Storm Jameson Court.
Please be advised that the walk between Storm Jameson Court to Parkinson Court is approximately 10 minutes.

By Car
Leeds is linked to the M1 and M62 motorways.
To find directions to Leeds University car parks please use the University’s guild on Google Maps interactive campus parking map. Parking on campus is limited, so they recommend that you use public transport, where possible. For more information, please visit The University car parking web pages.
Blue badge spaces are located throughout the visitor car parks. Their map of the visitor car parks includes the location of accessible bays. We have been advised that blue badge holders are not exempt from payment for parking.
Please note: The RMS cannot arrange University of Leeds parking for you nor do we have any involvement in parking arrangements you have made with the University directly.
The University is located on the edge of the city, within easy reach of a number of city centre car parks. For this information Visit Leeds website has a list of car parks in the city centre. If you’re travelling to Leeds by car and want to avoid parking in the city centre, you can use park and ride. There are sites at Elland Road, Temple Green and Stourton, providing easy access by bus into the centre of Leeds. If you’d like to car share when visiting Leeds, search for others taking the same journey using the Liftshare website.
Public Transport
For coach details, visit the National Express website. Most coaches arrive into Leeds Bus Station. The number 6 bus runs from Leeds Bus station to the Parkinson Building, outside the University’s main entrance. There is also a taxi rank outside the bus station. A taxi to the University takes about 10 minutes.
For local bus information and timetables, visit the West Yorkshire Metro website. There is also a Leeds CityBus that stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus (near the back of Leeds General Infirmary A&E).
Train
Leeds Railway Station connects Leeds with all major UK cities. For train information and timetables visit the National Rail Enquiries website.
Walking to the University campus from Leeds Railway Station takes around 20 minutes.
Air
The closest airports to Leeds are Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport.
Leeds Bradford Airport is around seven miles away from the University and is easily commutable by taxi. If you’re flying into Manchester Airport, you can catch a train from the airport to Leeds city centre.
