Call for Core Facility Crib Talks

We are looking for volunteers across Europe who'd like to present themselves and their core facilities in one of our 6 available Crib Talks.

Aiming for a good mix of big and small, established, and new core facilities, these Crib Talks are intended to highlight your core facility and to introduce yourself to the community.

Your talk should be no more than 10 minutes long and we would like you to use only 4 slides:

  • 1 slide about you and your career path
  • 1 slide about your facility
  • 1 slide highlighting a success
  • 1 slide covering a challenge (the challenge slide to spark discussion afterward)
  • You are encouraged to share one funny situation that happened in your core facility.

If you're interested in presenting a Crib Talk, please send a few words about your core facility and a link to your website before 17:00 (BST) on Tuesday 1 September, to Jess Cole at the Royal Microscopical Society, jessica@rms.org.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting.
