Timings

The programme will start on Tuesday 5 September at 1600 and finish on Friday 8 September at 0900. This will be an in person meeting and there will not be the opportunity to attend online. You can find a provisional programme in the website. The Exhibtion will take place on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September.

Registration Fee

The registration fee includes attendance to the whole meeting, lunches on 6 & 7 September, refreshments and evening meals on 5, 6, & 7 September. Registration does not include accommodation.

Registration will close on Tuesday 25 August at 0000 GMT.
 

Accommodation

For those who booked accommodation at the University of Warwick room check in will be available from 15:00 to 21:45. If you plan to arrive after 2145, please contact Conference Reception to arrange late key collection ccvreception@warwick.ac.uk or 02476 528910. Bedrooms needs to be vacated by 0930 on your day of departure. 

At the venue there will be luggage storage available for those who were unable to check in prior to the start of the event.

How to reach the Venue

You can reach the Venue by car or public transport. Coventry Railway Station, approximately four miles from the campus, is the nearest main-line train station to the University. There is a taxi rank located at the Station and on Central Campus at the University. There are regular bus services to the University Campus from Coventry City Centre and Coventry Railway Station, with the journey taking approximately 30 minutes. Birmingham International Airport is approximately 20 minutes from Campus by car and connects with many international cities. There is a taxi rank at Birmingham International Airport. The railway station that serves Birmingham Airport is Birmingham International. During weekdays trains depart from Birmingham International to Coventry Rail Station on average every 10 minutes. The journey takes between 10-15 minutes depending on which service you use.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions of booking you have agreed to abide by the Code of Conduct set out for all attendees at RMS Events.  

You will have the opportunity during the registration process to advise us of your dietary requirements.
 

Attendee Information

On Tuesday 5 September 2023 the RMS welcome and help desk will be located in the Faculty of Arts Building. Please collect you badge on arrival from this desk at 16:00.

A pdf meeting booklet will also be sent out to you, by email, just before the meeting. To be more sustainable we will only be providing an electronic copy of the pdf booklet. You are welcome to print a copy of the programme to bring with you to the event, unfortunately we are unable to provide any printed copies on the day. Find out more information on the RMS commitment to sustainability.

The event will be taking place in the Faculty of Arts Building, The University of Warwick, Gibbet Hill Road, Coventry CV4 7AL

 

Parking

Free car parking will be available on Central Campus if you book in advance. A link and a discount code for parking will be send to you by email after the registration.

Covid-19

Attending RMS Events

We are not requiring people to test for covid-19 in order to attend our events, however, we advise anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 not to attend our in-person events. The list of recognised symptoms can be found at gov.uk.

Masks and face coverings at events

The RMS has been following government guidance with regard to wearing masks and face coverings in public spaces.

We are not be mandating that attendees must wear masks at RMS events, but we welcome anyone to do so if they wish.

There will be spare masks, hand sanitiser and covid tests available at the RMS welcome desk for anyone that requires them.
