This course will take place over three days, with theory sessions (in the morning of each day) covering the basics of cryogenic sample preparation, cryogenic light and electron microscopy techniques and other modern approaches such as correlative microscopy and secondary ion mass spectrometry, all of which are available in Nottingham.  The afternoon sessions will explore the practical points of the techniques with the delegates through a series of demonstrations and hands on opportunities.  Attendance will be in-person at the University of Nottingham, or virtually via Zoom to suit attendees preferences.  The course is designed to be suitable for anyone who wishes to explore cryogenic microscopy methods to support their research, which could apply to life sciences, material sciences and beyond.
