Expertise

Platforms

Keywords - Platforms: Analytical Flow Cytometry | Cell Sorting

The CIMR core facility houses four Influx and one Melody cell sorter. Two Influx and the Melody sorter allow sorting of CL2 samples.

Six flow analyser (1x LSRII, 2x Attune NxT, 3x Fortessas) can be used by trained scientists for the analysis of samples. Five systems allow to run plates using a plate loader.

Applications

Keywords - Applications: Phenotyping | Cell cycle | Mammalian cells | Plant biology | Fluorescent proteins

The facility has expertise in analytical flow cytometry and cell sorting with a particular focus on single cell sorting applications.

Data Analysis

Keywords - Software: FlowJo | Flowlogic

The facility provides assistance and training on flow analysis software.

Shared Access

The CIMR Flow Cytometry Core is available for external users to use the analysers and the cell sorting service.

Funding

The facility operates on a full cost recovery basis.
