Exeter EPSRC Coherent Raman Imaging Facility (CONTRAST)

Our facility provides life science researchers with access to state of the art developmental techniques for label-free chemically-specific imaging based on nonlinear optical spectroscopy. The facility contains two custom-built coherent Raman microscopes: 1) Spectrally-Focused CARS and SRS (for high-speed chemical imaging) 2) Broadband CARS (for high-resolution chemical-fingerprint imaging) Users are fully supported by an Experimental Officer and have access to our onsite cell culture lab.
