RMS Ambassador unveils latest art exhibition
RMS Ambassador and visual artist Rob Kesseler is set to unveil a new exhibition of his microscopy-inspired work in London this week.
The exhibition, titled STUDY, will feature a wide range of Rob's work depicting the botanical world, including ink drawings, videos and complex micrographs of highly magnified plant specimens captured on high power microscopes. It is running from 24 May until 28 June (Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) at the Ken artspace, 16 Windmill Row, London SE11 5DW.
Rob, who is Emeritus Professor of Arts, Design & Science at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London, will also be delivering a lecture at the Linnean Society to coincide with the exhibition.
Rob is renowned for his collaborative work with scientists, including a series of critically-acclaimed publications featuring micro images of plant forms. He has a long association with the RMS, and will be among the volunteers on the RMS Learning Zone at mmc2025 incorporating EMAG 2025 (1 - 3 July).
