X-ray phase contrast imaging has been translated from the synchrotron to the laboratory using different techniques such as free space propagation, grating interferometry, Zernike phase contrast and edge illumination. The emergence of new high performance laboratory sources is a significant boost to the field.

This workshop aims to bring together the community working on the development of the techniques as well as the end users to discuss progress, current challenges and future directions.
